For example. If you have $25,000 in debt, what good does it do to save yourself $10,000.
A little less than total debt elimination is still okay...
At least for starters. I mean, if you want to cut your bills by a third ON YOUR WAY to full debt elimination, no one can fault you for taking it slowly. I guess that's better than nothing, since it effectively saves you $10,000 (according to the above example). Not to mention all the interest that you won't have to pay on that amount. Okay, so our logic is not air-tight. Any assistance provided by debt elimination programs is better than nothing. But why sell yourself short? Why not go all out? What we are encouraging is for you to go balls to the wall here. Leave nothing in the bag. Go all out or go home.
Settle for absolutely nothing less than total debt elimination in under three years.
Partial reduction is cool and all, but total debt elimination is way better
Zero dollars. That is the ultimate goal. That would obviously feel better than if you have any debt outstanding after your programs go to work.
